what are the top 10 makeup brands to buy?
That’s such a tough question! I’m going to answer your question with a question: do you mean drugstore, high end, or luxury?
The best way to know how a brand is great or not is by testing it out! Buy or test out at the store a few things from a brand. If they don’t perform well, it’s not a good brand- for you. What might work for you might not work for another person, and vice-versa. For example, I don’t like CoverGirl at all, but for some people CoverGirl is their favorite brand. It’s all about testing it out and figuring out what works for you.
But, to answer your question, my favorite brands are Maybelline, Revlon, NYX, Urban Decay, Benefit, MAC, Tarina Tarantino, SugarPill, Zoya, and OPI.

What is one brand that you just hate?
Allie: CoverGirl. Not only does it break me out in extreme hives (I have highly sensitive skin), but the products always fall short in pigmentation and wear time. The only thing I like from CoverGirl is their new-ish lipsticks. They’re full coverage, wear excellent, and come in so many colors! Other than that, CoverGirl is my least favorite brand.
I just ordered some Sugarpill makeup!
I bought two palettes, one single eyeshadow, and one pigment. I will be doing swatches and a review when they come in.

Allie’s answer: Sugarpill! I’ve been dying to get my hands on the Heartbreaker palette ever since it came out.

Allie’s answer: I’ve really been loving the Tarina Tarantino Delightful palette lately. All the colors you need for a complete look! The shadows are also really soft and have great color pay-off.
